How do ik book an appointment?

Once you have chosen an artist, you can reach out to them via email or whatsapp. Some artists may have a waiting period, but we open our books every three months to ensure we never have a long waiting list.

The price for a tattoo varies per artist, so for more information about pricing, its best to contact the specific artist you’re interested in. We can provide you with our session price, but is is always difficult to determine the exact cost of a tattoo, as it depends on several different factors. These factors include the complexity of the design, the type of skin, how well you can take the session, the size of the tattoo and its placement etc. once the design is ready, we can give you an estimate of the time it will take, but this is not a guarantee. For example, a small tattoo can sometimes take more time than a larger one. For larger projects, its common to spread the work over multiple sessions and a longer period of time to ensure it fits your budget. The decision on the timeline is entirely up to you. Take note that our pricing is adjusted annually.

On which days can I be tattooed?

The regular days for scheduling sessions are Tuesday to Friday. However, this can vary per artist, so its best to contact your artist directly.

How long is the waiting time for a tattoo?

The waiting time varies depending on the artist, so please contact your artist directly for specific details. We operate on a concept of opening our booking schedule every 3 months, depending on the artist. The best way to stay updated on these openings is trough our instagram page. Once bookings are open, you can submit a request by email. Sometimes we receive more applications than we an accommodate, which means we cannot accept all project during that period. In such cases, we will select the projects that appeal to us the most. If your project is not selected, it doesn’t mean we don’t like it, and you are welcome to submit your application again at al later time.

Can I bring someone with me during the appointments?

We ask that you attend your appointment alone for a focuses and distraction-free environment. This helps ensure that your artist can give you their full attention and maintain a conducive atmosphere in the studio. We implement a unique concept where we dedicate full-day sessions to one client only, enabling us to provide undivided attention to your project. To maintain a focussed environment, we kindly ask that individuals not receiving a tattoo wait outside the studio. If you bring someone with you, there are plenty of nearby places where they can comfortably wait and socialize.

I have a general vision about my tattoo, but I am having trouble organizing my ideas, can you help me?

Of course, we value having the creative freedom to shape your idea, as it allows us to craft a unique and artistic piece. With our extensive knowledge of how compositions work on the body, we focus on using various elements to create a cohesive design. While not every element needs to have a specific meaning, our goal is to ensure that the overall composition is balanced and visually appealing. When we have to adhere too strictly to specific ideas, it can be challenging to achieve the best possible result. Therefore, we believe having this creative freedom is essential. This way we will both be happy about the final tattoo. Rest assured, we make every effort to incorporate your input as much as possible during the design process, we view it as a collaborative effort between client and artist.

How should I prepare for the session?

Please make sure to have a good breakfast and get plenty of rest before your session. During the session, we take short breaks for eating and drinking. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, and there are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of the studio. Please avoid using oil or body lotion prior to your appointment. Bring your won headphones, as you can use a phone or tablet to watch shows or other content during the session. However, please refrain from making video calls or watching on speaker, as this can be disruptive to your artist and others in the studio. We recommend wearing black, grey or other neutral-colored clothing to avoid any ink or stencil marks on your cloths and to ensure better pictures. Feel free to bring an (old) cardigan for the breaks to keep warm.

How should I care for my tattoo after the session(s)?

After your tattoo session, you will leave the studio with a protective second skin film applied over your tattoo. This film helps protect the tattooed area from bacteria, dirt and other external factors while it begins to heal. Here’s how to properly handle the second skin film: Leave it On: keep the second skin film on for the duration recommended by your tattoo artist, typically 3 to 4 days. This initial period helps protect the tattoo and allows it to start the healing process. Remove Gently: After the recommended time, carefully remove the second skin film underneath the shower. Do this gently to avoid damaging the tattoo. Wash the Area: once the film is removed, gently wash the tattoo with mild, unscented soap and lukewarm water. Use your hands rather than a washcloth to avoid irritation. Pat Dry: Gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean, soft towel. Avoid rubbing the area. Apply Aftercare: Apply a thin layer of the recommended aftercare ointment as instructed by your artist. Monitor the Healing Process: Keep an eye on your tattoo as it heals. Of you notice any unusual symptoms, such as excessive redness, swelling or discharge, contact your tattoo artist or a health care professional. Follow General Aftercare: Continue with the general aftercare instructions provided by your artist, including avoid soaking the tattoo, protecting it from sunlight, and refraining form scratching or picking at it.

This includes keeping the tattoo clean, applying a recommended aftercare product, avoiding loading and protecting it from direct sunlight. Keep in mind that everyone’s skin heals at a different rate, so the healing process might vary slightly form person to person. If you have any concerns or notice unusual symptoms, such as excessive redenest, swelling, or discharge, its a good idea to contact your tattoo artist or a healthcare professional.
